Review: Creating a good looking photobook with Blurb

With a good provider, nearly anybody can create a photobook these days. And – believe me - there are a lot of book printing providers out there.

The trick is to find the one that is right for you. The right style, layout, price and quality of the end-product are important points, as well the ability to create the book in an easy way.

As a first provider, I reviewed the service and quality of Here is my opinion.

Some different wedding pictures

There are often the same picture ideas for weddings or of wedding couples. Now I’ve decided to do my own research by looking through the web for some different ideas.

There are always couple shootings done with the bridesmaids, the best man and the whole family. Posing in a normal way is good – everybody looks fine and nice, and if you are later looking at the pictures you’ll think: “yes, that was a very nice day” – and that is good, because you need these kinds of pictures.

But what can you do in addition to create some unique und fun wedding pictures, something your guests and you will both really love? Something that will make you say: “Yeah! That wedding was the most fun ever!”

Photographer hides GoPro camera in wedding bouquet

There are few more photographed events than a wedding, so coming up with a new way of shooting on is quite rare, but photographer Ben Horne managed it for his own big day.

Horne decided to hide a small GoPro camera in the wedding bouquet, giving a unique perspective on all the action.

Footage from the bouquet-cam shows what is was like for the bride to get ready, walk down the aisle and plenty of other lovely candid moments.

MOO targets wedding photographers at WPPI

Anyone reading this who is self-employed will almost certainly know about and their range of business cards and other unique printed goods.

But Moo have just announced that they will be targeting wedding and portrait photographers by showing off their latest digital image-based products at Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) in Las Vegas.

Moo say their Business Cards, Postcards, Greeting Cards, MiniCards and StickerBooks help photographers stand apart from the crowd… and even if they don't manage that, they are pretty cool.

Photo Booth Inspiration

Having a photo booth for parties is one of my new favorite ideas! Not hat it’s a new idea per-say, but it is not one that I had done before. Recently having set one up for a child’s circus party, I got to see first hand the pure FUN this brought to the event.

Another Creative Party Idea

We shared a post about these great event photo walls just a couple of days ago, and then another set of these creative event photo walls popped up and we knew we had to share these too!

These wall inspirations are the courtesy of Sparkliatti and were created by their event planning division Sasha Souza Events for a clients wedding.

We LOVE the vintage feel of these walls and the idea of using original family photographs to further accent the display.

And again, these walls are great ideas for ANY event. From corporate to birthday parties, the options are endless!
