We all know that while iPhone is one of the most commonly used cameras in the world and has plenty of photo-related apps, the lens can let it down and limit what you can do… why else would you be able to attach DSLR lenses?

Well, a new device has been launched which promises to help out photo-minded iPhone users by giving them the opportunity to shoot fisheye, wide-angle and macro shots.

The Olloclip is a diminutive little widget which clips over the rear-facing camera of an Apple iPhone 4 (also for IPhone 5) positioning an additional lens over the standard one.

Facing in one direction it give a fisheye and in reverse a wide angle, unscrewing the wide-angle reveals a cleverly hidden macro option.

Makers say of the £45 unit: "Nestled in the palm of your hand, the Olloclip connects to the iPhone within 2 seconds so you’ll be sure to capture the image you want…if you don’t see the picture you’re looking for just flip it over and switch the lens."
