Seagate Backup Plus Drives Automatically Upload Photos to Flickr

We all know that backups are important. But how many of us can honestly say we have our photos securely stored in multiple locations?

Well Seagate hope their latest hard drives will help you sort out your personal photo storage issues -- because they automatically upload and download photos from Facebook and Flickr.

The Backup Plus external drives - which are available in sizes from 500-gigabtyes to 4-terabytes - claim to protect and share your entire digital life with minimal fuss.

The devices can be set to automatically share images saved to them, on the photo and social networks, so that if the unfortunate happens and you drive breaks or is stolen, you still have your precious images somewhere.

Equally by automatically downloading images saved to your Flickr and Facebook accounts, it mean you are always organized and have a copy of the files to hand if you want to do anything more with them. Ideal if you upload images direct from your phone and don't sync with your computer.

A spokesperson for Seagate said: "The Backup Plus portable drive from Seagate is the simple way to protect and share your entire digital life—without getting in the way of the rest of your life."
