Instagram and Snapseed named Apple apps of the year

At CoolPhotoIdeas we have more than one or two photography apps on our iPads and iPhones. And we're big fans of Instagram and Snapseed.

As such we're pleased to see that Apple US have just named the duo of apps as its Apps of the Year for iPhone and iPad.

For anyone who has not heard of them, Instagram is a cool image processing and sharing for the iPhone with specialised in lo-fi filters.

And Snapseed is a more detailed processing suite which lets you do all sorts of cool stuff with images on your iPad.

Both are well worth checking out. Enjoy.
